Cycling Active February 2013 issue on sale from January 2

Cycling Active February 2013 issueCycling Active February 2013 issue is on sale from Wednesday, January 2, packed with bike and product reviews, fitness tips and great places to ride.

Oh no, it’s New Year’s resolution time! Don’t panic, this being Cycling Active we don’t take things too seriously and I promise we won’t try to lure you into anything too scary.

There’ll be no ‘new year, new you,’ or ‘fresh start’ style nagging from us. We promise to stay cliché lite with words of plain advice for you to get the maximum enjoyment from your riding and, most importantly, improve a little too. Read on and see if we really can turn you into a better rider.

Also in this issue we have the silliness of surviving all day on cake, fuelling your ride with Guinness, cycling dressed as a fairy, plus our top tip — don’t get hypothermia!

I confess I’m not intending on trying any of the aforementioned. My modest ambitions for 2013 include the completion of a 100-mile sportive and to conquer a French mountain. I might even partake in some rough stuff, as experienced by new columnist Autumn Barlow. Sounds fun, and quite legal.

Robert Garbutt, Editor

Cycling Active February 2013 is available from January 2 2013 at WHSmith, major supermarkets and all good newsagents priced £3.99.
