This month’s health-giving star is the unprepossessing Chinese Gooseberry Actinidia deliciosa or Kiwi Fruit.
These hairy beauties contain more vitamin C than oranges and more fibre than apples, weight for weight. This potent mixture can help prevent heart disease and strokes by reducing bad cholesterol, reducing blood pressure and even helping to stop blood clots.
